17 - I'd switch lives for a day with..

I don't know if this is something I would ever actually do if given the chance.  I'm happy with my life and I don't compare it to anybody else's.  BUT if I had to switch lives for a day with someone, I think it would be interesting to switch lives with a homeless person.  Someone who is truly without any place to live.  Has no money and few possessions.  Someone who has been cut off from their family or has lost all contact with them.

I get caught up in my day to day stresses and a lot of times forget to be grateful for the things that I have and only focus on the things that I don't.  
I think an experience like that would be very humbling and give me a new kind of appreciation for all that I've been blessed with.

Day 13: A letter to someone...

Dear future baby of mine...
I'm working hard to get you here!  It's just going to be a little while longer.  Your future daddy and I are trying to make our little heaven on earth perfect for when you arrive.  We have started reading the scriptures together and make sure to go to all of the ward activities.  I stopped driving all crazy and daddy and I are both working on not saying bad words anymore.  And you would be so proud of us!  We made a goal to go to the temple once a month and are 100% so far. :)  But I guess you already know that huh?
Every time we see a little baby it's makes us think of you and my stomach gets a little tight because I feel like I just can't wait any more... but I will.  You're going to be such a special little spirit in our lives.  You aren't even here yet and already you have effected us so much.  We can't wait to meet you!

Day 12: Why I have a blog

I found out about blogger because my dear friend Hailey invited me to hers.  I thought it would be fun, but never really had the drive to do one myself.  When Jared and I found out that we have complications with getting pregnant I decided that it would be good for me to start blogging.  I have family and friends across the United States and this was a good way to let them know what was going on with me, but also a way for me to document feelings that I was having as I went through this process.  Since day one my blog has evolved to include other parts of my life, especially now with the whole baby thing on hold

and I love it. :)

Day 11: Another pic of me & my friends

 My sister is my best friend in the whole wide world (besides Jared of course).  We talk (almost) every day about everything that goes on in our lives.  We love, scream, vent, cry,  gossip, laugh, inspire and share everything with one another.  She was my maid of honor and I get to be her matron of honor on her wedding day April 1st.  In 6 weeks we will have even more in common because we'll both be married!

I don't know what I would do without her.
