Spring has sprung

I love this time of year!  It starts to warm up outside, you see more of the sun, the world starts to come back to life... although, in this sunny state things don't really do a whole lot of dying.  I love that I get to plant my garden super early, although I got kind of a late start this year.  The past two weekends have been spent planting seeds and getting our garden all ready again.
Jared got mad at the tomato cage because it wasn't going into the dirt right, haha

So this is our little garden!  Jared built the trellis for me and I painted it white :)
Our seeds are already sprouting!  Here's our carrots, zuccini, and green beans.
We also planted roma/beefsteak tomatoes, red/green peppers, jalepenos, peas, cucumber, white/red onions, and corn.

When my parents were visiting they were super awesome and helped dig out a bunch of grass to make this little garden area. :)  We have our berry plants to the left and we planted corn and green beans on the right.
 Yum! Blueberries :)
 Raspberries! :)
Our raspberries are starting to spread!!! :)
We also have a blackberry bush and purple grapes that are on a pretty arbor that Jared built for me... I just neglected to take pictures of those.
This is my buckets of herbs.  So far I've planted Cilantro, Lavender and Chives.  I still need to plant Rosemary, Basil and Parsley.  I flattened and stamped this old fork for a little decoration for my pot.  I messed it up a little but really like how it looks.  I want to make more!
I planted Strawberries in the front and I can't wait until they come in!  I'm almost out of my strawberry jam!
Jared had to take some breaks from the hard work.

I'm so excited that our garden is finally all planted! :)  And I can't wait until I start getting some fruits and veggies.

  1. How exciting! Tom and I can't wait to plant ours once we are back in St. George. I'm jealous of the berries though... They don't grow great in St. George, and I love making fruit leather with fresh berries.
