Hiking schmiking
Over the past month we've been buying things so that we can go hiking, but not just regular hiking, the backpack hiking where you take a big pack and a tent and sleeping back and sleep in the middle of nowhere. Now we have our packs and a tent and Jared has everything he needs already and we're just going to borrow a sleeping bag for me because we're going overnight hiking this weekend! I'm so excited and I can't wait! I've done simple hiking before but never anything overnight. I'm glad Jared's an Eagle Scout. Maybe he'll teach me everything he knows and then I'll pretend like I'm one too. I hope I love it because I think I want to make this one of my new hobbies. :)

Be careful. Last time The General took me hiking he tried to convince me that I was suffering from hypothermia and that we both needed to strip off our clothes and climb in a sleeping bag to raise my body temperature.
