4 Months

I never got around to actually publishing this post that I wrote.  I started it on February 8th and was going to finish and post it on the 11th...  I'm still posting this so that I have an entire record of my pregnancy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This week marked 4 months of being pregnant.  I'm almost halfway there!
So far I haven't experienced
-Morning sickness
This was nice to never have because I hate throwing up.
But I have had/or am experiencing
-Food Aversions - This made me sad & I'm happy to be past it
-Round ligament pain - This sucks
-Braxton Hicks - This sucks
-Lactating - not fun either, haha
-Interrupted sleep - to go to the bathroom, but it's getting better I've gone from getting up 6 times a night to 3-4.
- Bigger boobs - Jared likes this one, haha
- My vision is worse - didn't know this would happen
- Edema - aka my fat feet.  Here's a picture of one of my lovelies
Ew.
This picture was taken on Tuesday and since then the swelling is just getting worse.  To help this I've set my phone alarm to go off every hour from 9-5 to remind me to get up, walk around, drink some water and then elevate my feet for 5-10 min.   I need to get some compression stockings and I really have to start watching what I'm eating and lower my sodium.  No more eating out for me!  This is my least favorite symptom so far and it makes me super nervous that it's {combined with some of the other symptoms that I have} a sign of Preeclampsia.  I'm glad my Dr. screens for that every time I go in for a checkup.
Finally,
- Fast growing belly :)  - I was at the store the other day and some lady started talking with me.  She asked how far along I was and when I told her that I'm 4 months she freaked out and said that she thought I looked like I was going to be due any day now.  Awesome... thanks for the self esteem boost lady.
I'm sure there's something I'm leaving out but that's a good enough list right? haha.  Jared's been pretty sweet to help me any chance he gets.  This week he's been rubbing my feet a lot to help increase circulation in my legs/feet and he tries to get everything done that I ask him to help with around the house, because let's face it, I've been pretty worthless in the keeping my house clean dept. this week.  In spite of all the awesome symptoms though, I'm very grateful that so far this is a healthy pregnancy.  I just hope it stays that way!  I'm going to go buy a blood pressure tester tonight so that I can monitor my blood pressure {obviously} so that if it goes up I'll know right away and can do something about it rather than waiting 3 weeks until my next appt.  Other than that and what I'm already doing I'm not sure what else there is left to do.  Hopefully it helps and this next month doesn't bring on any new symptoms! haha
