5 months old

Dear baby Wyatt,

44 weeks ago is when I first knew of your existence.  You had only been growing for 2 weeks by then.  You got to grow inside my tummy for 24 weeks and 3 days before I finally got to meet you {since you were daddy's and my IVF miracle, we know the exact days for everything :) } and now I've gotten to know you outside of my tummy for 22 weeks.  Five months baby!  I can't believe you're already five months old!  You are getting to be such a big boy and I am so so proud of you.  In your short five months you have been stronger than any other person I know and you have come so far.

The other day I was cleaning up your room and I came across one of the diapers that you wore when you were very first born.  It's hard to believe you were that tiny... and now you've got a cute little double chin.  Although, I'm pretty sure that's the only chunky part on you're body.  I'm so glad that you are growing so well and that you are continuing to get stronger.  I like that trick that you and daddy started doing where you sit up and balance on daddy's hand.  It made me a little nervous the first time you did it, and I think you were nervous too because you did that cute little shaky thing with your mouth that you do when you get a little scared.  But pretty soon  you guys are going to be pros at that trick, I just know it.  You are starting to be so much fun to play with.  You've started giving me some really big smiles when I'm silly with you and if you could, I know you'd be laughing your butt off.  We're going to have a lot of fun, you and I, when we can start running around together.

Five months... I still can't believe you're already five months.  You're almost halfway to being one!  I guess I better get started planning your party huh? :)
