This last week I grew a TON. My belly has never felt so stretched out! And I'm officially done with my first trimester! Hello second trimester! :) Here's the update:
How far along? 14 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: gained 2 lbs
Maternity clothes: I started wearing maternity shirts last week, and I've started using the hair tie trick :)
Stretch marks: Nope {just what was already there}
Best moment this wk: We bought furniture for our bedroom {finally!}
Miss anything: I'm still missing red bull. There's one in my fridge that just stares at me every time I open the door. I need to hide it where I won't see it.
Movement: I had a couple of diff. times last week where I though I felt the babies move... but I think it was probably just been some gas bubbles {sorry if TMI} BUT today, I think the babies were excited to start trimester numero dos with me because I definitely felt them move! :) Such an incredible feeling! It was just little flutters, but it was amazing to feel life. <3
Food cravings: None
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope, but I gag almost every time I brush my teeth.
Have you started to show yet: Yes
Genders: Don't know yet
Labor signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy :)

This week the babies are as big as lemons!

This week the babies are as big as lemons!
It was so fun to start wearing maternity shirts last week! I only have a few so I need to go shopping for some more :) And I need to get a bellaband. I'm actually starting to "feel" pregnant now and I'm loving it.
Also, I'm loving the new furniture that we bought. Jared promised me a couple of years ago that we could buy bedroom furniture before we had babies {because I figured that if we waited until after that we would NEVER have bedroom furniture}. So we went and picked it up on Saturday. I love how our room looks now!

We moved the bed to a different wall
and took my hope chest out of the bedroom to make space for a chair :)
and we got a new dresser!
I love my new chair.
I don't know why we didn't arrange our room like this before. It is SO much more functional now and we both love it.
Anyway, that's all for this week!

ReplyDeleteI just have to put in my opinion about the bella band... I know a lot of people who absolutely love them, but for me they made me feel thicker in the middle having that extra layer. Maternity pants (either below the belly ones or the secret fit belly) fit a lot better underneath shirts without adding extra bulk and lines, and are more comfortable. I just had to put that out there... but like I said a lot of people can't live without their bella band. :)

ReplyDeleteYay! Feeling my babies move was one of the best parts about being pregnant for me! It's so cool when they get bigger and you can see their movements... If you want to raid my maternity clothes, you are more than welcome. I have pants, shorts, dresses and lots of shirts.
