I saw my OB GYN for the first time last Tuesday!
{One week ago today... I know, I've been bad at updates lately}
I think I like this Dr. Grady.
Plus I got to see my little bean sprouts again! :)
His ultrasound machine wasn't working right so he wasn't able to measure how big the babies were, and he definitely did not get a great screen shot picture of them... but that might have been because they are getting bigger and were squirming around a little bit.
It's always so amazing to me when I get to see them and hear their little heartbeats. I love those little guys!
My next appointment is January 31st.
And I've opted to not get a first trimester NT scan. I will love my babies no matter what, so there doesn't seem to be any point in having this done. A lot of women I know, get an NT scan because they're hoping to find out the gender or because they just want an extra ultrasound. Yeah, that would be cool, but I just can't justify it to myself. Therefore, no test.
{for those who don't know, the NT scan is a test to see the odds of a baby having down syndrome or any other chromosomal defect. It's not definitive and can cause undue stress on the mother.}
The second trimester NT scan is more accurate and I'll consider having it done then.
