Take two

I don't want to jinx this or anything, but so far Wyatt is doing great.  When he was brought to the hospital on the 26th he was started back on methadone 2x a day.  Friday night they changed it to once a day for 3 days.  And as of Monday night he is no longer on methadone.  They observed him over the next 3 days to see how his body handled not having methadone... and so far so good!  He hasn't had an prn's over the last three days {knock on wood!}

He hasn't been crying every single time he's awake which is WONDERFUL! :)
Because he's been doing so great they're letting him come home with us today.  Yahoo!

Hopefully we can KEEP him home this time.
I learned a few things from having Wyatt home last time and this time I am making sure I have everything I need.  Phone numbers.  Lots of phone numbers to people I can call if something happens again.

Hopefully he keeps being the happy little guy that he's been for the past few days and the transition home goes smoothly.

  2. That is great news Jess!!! I hope this go around he is home for good!!! You are such a fabulous mother and all the notes you are taking and video is so wonderful - you are able to really explain to the doctors what is going on - I bet they are so happy when you show them that stuff - that way they can prescribe the best plan for Wyatt!!! XOXO

  3. That is fantastic news! I've been curious over this time, that monkey blanket he is always on.. Is it a linen type? It looks so comfortable for him.
    Fingers crossed for you all that he only has one final trip home for a long time. :)
