Today I got a call from HRC and APPARENTLY all those labs I had to do ARE good for something. So far I have come back negative on everything bu it turns out I came back positive on Ureaplasma. I'll be honest, I kind of freaked out a little when she told me because I have never heard of this thing before, plus it sounds weird. Anna explained that ureaplasma is actually quite common. About 70% of sexually active people have this. It's a bacteria that is associated with first trimester pregnancy loss, still birth, and premature birth. Luckily, to get rid of it, all Jared and I have to do is take an antibiotic a couple of times a day for a week.
That would have been terrible to have started everything and then find out after I had a miscarriage or something!!! I guess these people really do know what they're doing.
Glad they caught this when they did! Just a quick Abx course and you'll be good to proceed
